The Golem
A golem is a creature created via the Animator Experiment using the corpse of a Human, Fuel, Formula, and mechanical parts. Thus, a golem is best described as a living Steam Device.
The appearance of a golem varies greatly and wholly dependent on the kind of golem the Scientist wants to create (and of course the costuming the golem player is willing to wear). A golem could be mostly machine like a man in armor, or perhaps mostly dead flesh like a walking corpse, or zombie. The imagination of Scientist and golem player is the only limit. Golems also vary in intelligence. Some are complete imbeciles having to be instructed to perform every movement. Some are intelligent enough to make decisions of their own, and decide whether or not it will listen to its creator. Since all golems are made from dead humans, some golems may remember who they were in life, or have vague flashes of memories, or no recollection at all. The personality of a golem is entirely up to the golem player. The Scientist creator as no idea what sort of mind will come to life when they flip the switch on... |
